| Cooking Classes - Domestic Workers |
|
What about working smarter? Want us to train your domestic worker to acquire new cooking skills? If you can't do it or don’t have the time, maybe working late again?… then delegate. Send your Domestic Assistant to learn valuable new skills in the kitchen, a good move to enrich both of your lives. Our cooking classes are hands-on, where every learner gets to participate in the preparation of the dishes. They learn personal and kitchen hygiene, how to read a recipe, portion control, knife skills, correct tools, new methods and cooking skills, how to set a proper table, serve a meal when you have guests, set up a check list and respect the kitchen. Personal attention are given to each worker and we help your assistant to become self-motivated and gain an interest in preparing a wonderful meal for your family. Tired of eating week in and week out the same boring meals? Being able to learn all these new techniques will help her gain confidence in the kitchen, changing your stressful life style. We provide everything for the cooking classes. Recipes are provided for each cook in a handy file for him/her to take home afterwards. We have a staff member who translates in his or her own language. Juice, coffee and tea will be provided and meals enjoyed after the cooking session or packed for takeaways. All recipes are hands on and therefore all ingredients are supplied for each learner. They will be taking home approximately 4 - 6 dishes per person. Passion, excellence, enthusiasm and dedication are some of the values that we continuously strive for to make each cooking class for you and your assistant worthwhile. Personalized certificates will be handed out after each cooking course. Cost R380 per session or R3000 VAT inclusive for the full course. The first class consists of personal and kitchen hygiene, knife skills, food and kitchen safety, use of basic equipment and table setting. This class is essential! CLASSES TAKE PLACE ON SELECTED DAYS SHOWN BELOW FROM 09:00 – 14:30 Dates for Domestic Cooking Classes - May to June 2013
